Coming off a steady string of releases and as of today currently holding the Number 1 position on Traxsource for his single ‘Delirium’, Chris Schambacher is a force to be reckoned with. He is about to embark on a 70+ city worldwide tour with Night Nation Run, raising money for Stand Up 2 Cancer, and for the Winter Music Conference he especially wanted to showcase his musical writing abilities with releasing a deluge of great melodic festival style electronic records. ‘Calling For You’ is the title track and it has floating female vocal layers, a grungy saw tooth base with flittering arpeggiated melodies. Beautiful music heavily layered and textured for nice depth. ‘Light From Afar’ feels like a very Tiesto inspired record, with synth chord chops cascading over the breakdown whilst the emo piano notes float around in musical soundspace. ‘Synergy’ has this very live raw feel to it, with the metallic buzz synth sustaining over the breakdown to really give that hands in the air festival vibe – a personal signature of Chris’ productions and vibe, and this absolutely extends to his approach when performing live.
